Sandy Li began her career as an investment banker for Morgan Stanley where she worked in London, Hong Kong, and Houston across Financial Institutions Capital Markets, General Industrials Corporate Finance, and Energy Mergers and Acquisitions. In 2005 she joined the global executive search firm CTPartners in New York and relocated to Los Angeles in 2008 to build and lead the West Coast Financial Services Practice, partnering with clients such as JPMorgan, Charles Schwab, and TPG. In 2014, she launched her own independent executive coaching and recruiting practice. She recruits and coaches C-Suite and board level talent across financial services, global corporations, consulting, nonprofit organizations, venture capital and social impact investing. Over her career, she has personally assessed, interviewed and coached over 40,000 executives.
Sandy Li graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She served as an Executive in Residence at UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2015 to 2018. She has advised faculty at Columbia Business School and Stanford University and has been a guest presenter for the Wharton School, Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and NYU Stern School of Business.
